To be certified organic in Canada means you have met a series of strict environmental and regulatory standards. These standards prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides as well as the use of hormones and antibiotics.
If something is organic it means it has met a series of strictly enforced regulations in order to become certified as organic. “Natural” is a marketing term. What “natural” means can vary and is only defined by those marketing their product.
